Sanon Sen & Associates (S&S), one of the leading architectural firms in Calcutta, was started in 1958 by V P Sanon and the late P M Sen - two accomplished architects with vision and belief in a simple credo: The future belongs to those with the vision to see it.
From its modest beginnings over Five decades old - OUR GOLDEN JUBLEE YEAR, S&S can today boast of a very strong and committed team of architects, interior designers, engineers, and other specialists to undertake the development of projects of any any size and scope.
Over the years S&S has undertaken planning and design consultancy assignments in a wide variety of projects. These include office, apartment and shopping complexes, residential colonies, bungalows, factories, temples and rest houses. In addition the firm also undertakes specialist projects in renovation and conservation.
S&S offers its clientele comprehensive facilities. Its team of design professionals is known for its meticulous planning and detailing: be it the slope of putting green on a high rise terrace, the painting of a mural on an atrium or the fabric of the roman blinds for an interior design assignment, each detail is carefully looked into.
To keep up with changing design and technological trends S&S is continuously upgrading and modernising its facilities. The firm was one of the first in the city to absorb computerization and computer aided design and drafting (CADD) into its setup. Today, all aspects of interior, architectural and structural design, presentations to clients which include simulated walk-through, and construction management, has been computerised.
